1. Taxes/Duties and Financial Services
Taxes And Duties: All MagickHome product pricing is inclusive of applicable taxes. This is non-negotiable. If any increase in the GST rates between the project sign-off date and execution date, MagickHome will raise the Invoice with revised GST rate and the client has to bear the additional tax amount.
2. Copyrights
All designs shared with the client at any stage of the client journey are the exclusive copyright of MagickHome Additionally, the designs are shared with the intent that the order for the same is executed by MagickHome. Any designs shared by MagickHome cannot be used, installed, and/or shared in any way or form without the prior and written consent of MagickHome.
Personalized design presentations will be shown to the client on a MagickHome system. These will be available for download only after 40% Payment is made.
3. Revisions of Designs
MagickHome shares design proposals only after a thorough consultation between a MagickHome-certified designer and the client. The client is permitted to ask for revisions of parts of the proposal if they are within the timelines of the design service days, as enumerated below. Any pricing/ proposal is valid only for 30 days from the date of the quotation.
3D Images: Please note that 3D images of the client's home interiors provided during the design finalization stage, may not represent the physical products, the finishes, the wood grains, or the joint lines of the final product delivered eventually. Any and all other decor, designs, and features in the 3D images are only for representation purposes and approximations of reality. MagickHome is not responsible for the manufacture, procurement, and delivery of the same.
Site Measurements: The measurements/counts for any site works that are undertaken by designers, are not final. Measurements taken post-kick-off with verification by the Project Manager/ Vendor will be considered final, and any differences shall be accounted for in the final quotation. Also, any changes requested in the design post-kick-off will increase the design and production timelines.
Sign-off drawings: All sign-off drawings (signed off) by the client are considered final. The client is expected to clear all their doubts with the designer if they have any clarifications regarding the drawings and the quotation. It is equally the responsibility of the client, to ensure that the designer has incorporated all the changes/ inclusions that they have asked for, before signing off the drawings for production. Modifications to the agreed designs will not be possible post-sign-off. However, additional requirements that may come up post-sending the project to production, can be taken up as add-on work, with the clear understanding that it will add/ and impact the project quotation & timelines.
4. Delivery and Penalty for Delays/ Quality Problem(s)
Project handover: MagickHome is not responsible for any delay in project implementation due to third-party vendors, force majeure, site-readiness issues, and/or all other reasons beyond its control. Changing or modifying the client's order post the project is sent to production, will also delay the delivery timelines. MagickHome is responsible for delivering only the scope of work that is signed off with us, with all payments received as per the stages enumerated.
The committed project handover timelines are exclusively applicable to the execution timeline after the design sign-off or 40% payment milestone, whichever is the later date.
This covers only the production and installation timelines and does not include the time taken to finalize designs. The start and end dates for the design stage:
- Start date of the design stage: The start date is the date from when the 10% advance or Rupees fifty thousand whichever is lower as per the estimate, is realized by MagickHome and confirmed by our accounts team.
- Completion of the design phase of the project/ Design sign-off stage: The design phase completion date is the date when 40% payment is realized by us and a final sign-off on all drawings and the scope of work has been given by the client.
- Timeline Commitment: During sign off our project management team will commit on the estimated Timeline to get the Project to ‘Ready to move in' stage, which is dependent on project size and scope.
Ready to move-in date - Once the project reaches a stage where installation is completed to an extent where the pending minor snags would not impact the client from moving into the property, that date would be considered as the ‘Ready to move in' date for the project. The ready-to-move-in date determined by our quality team would be final & non-negotiable.
MagickHome will not be held responsible for damages caused during installation while fixing or moving client-procured material, such as flooring material, electrical and/or plumbing fittings, appliances, hardware, or miscellaneous fixtures/ materials, that are a request of the client. Any wall/ ceiling stains/ chipping caused during installation is to be taken care of during the painting stage, post-completion of all modular installation - irrespective of whether it is in MagickHome scope or not. If painting is not taken care of by MagickHome, the client is expected to take care of this activity in their scope.
If any works (modular/ site works/ fixing works, etc.) are executed by way of an agreement between the client and design partner/ the designer and/or the project manager, without the knowledge of MagickHome, then such an agreement shall be null and void, and will not be eligible for claiming any kind of warranty/ compensation and/ or maintenance support from the organization.
5. Design Changes Due to Technical Non-Feasibility
At the time of execution, there may be minor design changes due to site conditions, material changes, material unavailability, and/ or technical non-feasibility. The client will be explained the implication(s) thereof and asked for approval for these changes, when brought to their attention by the Designer/ Project manager. The quotations may change through the process up until handover due to the same.
Material Change
- Clients can make changes to the materials selected only up to the design sign-off stage. Any material changes requested post the payment of 50%, will incur additional costs of the works undertaken and will result in an increase in timelines, which will not be considered as delay.
- Materials can be changed with the client's approval because of:
- Material unavailability (after earlier confirmation received)
- MagickHome is not happy with the quality provided by the vendor.
- Finish and material selections must be done from MagickHome's approved catalog only.
- In some rare cases, materials may go out of stock by the time the project reaches the production stage. In case the selected material is not available with the vendor (for reasons beyond our control), MagickHome will not be liable to pay a delay compensation. The client will be asked to re-select an alternate material without any delays, as and when requested.
- Clients need to provide detailed structural/ plumbing/ electrical drawings during any on-site work, to ensure there is no damage to pre-existing items during execution.
Vendors
- MagickHome Authorized Vendor: The estimate is given by MagickHome, and the payment is made to MagickHome directly. For works undertaken by a MagickHome authorized vendor, MagickHome will raise the relevant invoices pertaining to the stage the project is at and payments will be made to MagickHome. MagickHome is completely responsible for the works undertaken by the MagickHome Authori¬¬¬zed vendor and the warranty terms are applicable as enumerated in the company's Warranty policy. Responsibility for any damage/ theft in the client's site will be taken by us only if the site is exclusively under our control and no work is undertaken or access is shared with vendors who are not appointed by us.
- Client Vendor: MagickHome is not responsible for work undertaken by the client's vendor(s). The quotations, negotiations, and payment are exclusively between the client and the vendor; no MagickHome member will be involved in such efforts. MagickHome will not give guarantees of timelines, quality, or finish in such a case. The warranty policy does not apply to works undertaken by the client's vendor.
- Vendors referred by MagickHome employees: Please note that the team has been given strict instructions to not refer any vendors from their side directly. MagickHome request the Customers to refrain from seeking references from MagickHome employees. In exceptional scenarios when MagickHome/Employees refer a vendor, MagickHome is not responsible for such vendor's works, quality or timelines. If the client gets any commitments from them or has paid any money to them, it does not fall under the contract between the client and MagickHome.
6. Value Added Services
- Deep cleaning of the client's project will be undertaken by MagickHome only once before the project handover at additional cost.
- Floor-covering will be undertaken by MagickHome, before the commencement of work at the site, and on a chargeable basis. This is mandatory and recommended to protect both the floor and the modular units during movement and installation.
- Project unloading services required above 2nd floor will be provided at an additional cost, incase if the Service lift is not available for Loading and Unloading the materials
7. Quality Assurance
- MagickHome produces personalized, factory-made products only, and while we take utmost care in the quality check, delivery, and installation, sometimes there can be unforeseen minor damages or errors visible after the product is installed. We are committed to fixing such errors at the earliest.
- Rework/replacements will be undertaken in cases where the installed material is outside of permissible tolerance limits as determined by our quality team. For example, shutter bends within 3mm tolerance, are considered within permitted standards.
8. Cancellation & Returns
Any non-manufacturing defects or damages found post-delivery of the products will not be eligible for returns or replacements. MagickHome has a no-refund policy.
- At any point in time, until the design sign-off, if the client wishes to pause the project due to certain circumstances, we request the client to inform the Sales Manager / Designer or send a mail to [email protected], A project can be kept on hold for a maximum duration of 90 days.
- In case of a conflict between the commitment given to the customer by a company representative (through any verbal or written format) and the policies outlined in this document, the terms & conditions document would supersede.
9. Customer Abuse Policy
MagickHome always prides itself on the paramount importance it gives to client service. Company employees/ personnel are trained to treat clients with utmost respect in every interaction, and at every stage of the client's journey with us.
We request clients to be mature in their understanding of the situation and resist resorting to hostile and abusive behavior. In the eventuality of such behavioral circumstances by a client, the company reserves its right to take all such steps that it may deem fit, including discontinuation of the project and/ or initiating legal action of a civil and criminal nature.
Payment Terms/Milestones for Projects
10%: of the initial Quote Value for Sign-up |
40%: of the Final Quote Value during Design Sign off |
50%: Before Material Dispatch |

Completion duration
When we commit to completing your project in 45 days, it is the time period for executing the project after design sign off. The start date is the date from when 50% of the overall cost as per the final quotation is realized by MagickHome’s Accounts team.
Quote Validation
The final quote given has a validity date of 30 days from date of submission. The final offer is valid for 7 days from the date of order finalization.
Other terms
The quote given by MagickHome does not include plumbing, countertop, gas piping, appliances, hob, chimney, sinks, taps, electrical shifting, tile laying, core cutting and civil changes. At the time of execution, there may be design changes due to site condition, material changes and/or technical non-feasibility. The client will need to approve these changes when brought to their attention by the designer/ project manager. Despite our best efforts, in exceptional mitigating circumstances, like systems downtime, last minute changes, policy-related issues, our services may be impacted for short durations and it's our duty to reduce and minimize such circumstances to the maximum possible extent. The cost mentioned in the quote represents only the modular work in the design and renders and doesn’t take the appliances, furniture, décor, props and other miscellaneous items into the calculation. The 45 days completion is applicable only for projects of under Rs 15 lakhs. For other premium projects, the execution completion time will be conveyed well in advance during the design finalization time.
